Frenchman David N’Gog spent just six months in the Scottish Premiership on thw back of his spell at Greek Super League outfit Panionios. David N’Gog signed for Ross County in January 2017 and on a short-term deal until the end of the 2017/18 season. He was able to reunite with Scotsman Owen Coyle who had him at Bolton Wanderers.

Coyle and Bolton had signed David N’Gog in a £4m deal from Liverpool in August 2011. The French striker signed a three-year deal when he signed for the Trotters. N’Gog didn’t have the best of debut at Bolton Wanderers after coming on as a substitute for Kevin Davies as the Trotters were beaten 5-0 at home by Manchester United. His first game for Bolton Wanderers in came in September 2011 and his first goal for the club happened one month later I the away win over Wigan Athletic. David N’Gog scored one of the goals as Bolton Wanderers secured a 3-1 away victory at the expense of the Latics.

David N’Gog signed a short-term deal for Ross County in the Scottish top flight thanks in part to Coyle and he went on to score a solitary goal in his ten appearances for the club in the league. It took David N’Gog five days after signing to score his first and only goal for Ross County. He scored the lone goal for Ross County during the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Rangers in the league.

N’Gog left Ross County to join Hungarian club Budapest Honved based in the capital of the country and it took him just seven minutes to announce his arrival in a new country.  The former Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) player scored his first goal for Honved against Debrecen.David N’Gog was in Hungary for two years before leaving to join Zalgiris in Lithuania.
